About
Bloxberg Photography
With a foundation in art photography and experience working for the Los Angeles Times, Associated Press, MLive Media Group/Booth Media, and Knight Ridder, my journey as a photographer has been intertwined with life’s demands and transitions. In the late 1990s, I shifted to high tech to support my growing family, but photography has always been my constant.
It grounds me, providing a creative outlet that keeps me balanced and connected. My street photography now captures the nuanced stories that often go unnoticed—the joyful, the solitary, the fragmented. Through each image, I invite viewers to look beyond the surface, exploring the layers of humanity in places and faces that might otherwise be overlooked.
My art explores the dualities of life—joy and solitude, innocence and wear, connection and fragmentation. Through candid and crafted moments, I strive to reveal the stories that often go unseen. Each image invites viewers to pause and reflect, uncovering the layers of humanity within the overlooked and forgotten.
By framing places and people with character, I aim to offer glimpses into the lives and spaces that surround us, urging viewers to look beyond the surface and find meaning in the everyday.
